The class I would like to attend
is full, what do I do?
When you click on "FULL", the next screen
will ask you to fill in your name and email address
and then submit your request. An email will be sent
to Learn and Grow Together. We always recommend you
have a second choice and that you schedule that. Should
space open in your first choice class, we will be in
touch with you!
I mailed my registration but haven't
heard if I got in the class?
We confirm all class registrations the week before
class begins by email. If there is a problem with your
registration, if the class is full or if we need more
information, we will contact you. Please don't
hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns about
registration.
I have twins. Will I need a caregiver
for each child in class?
No. Twins will be counted as one registration. It
is recomended that you bring an extra pair of hands
with you, so you each can focus on one child!
Are the age guidelines for your
classes strictly enforced?
The age recommendations outlined for Learn and Grow
Together classes have been carefully constructed to
best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate
way. Therefore, it is important that your child be
at least the minimum age by the start of the semester
for the class in which you are enrolling. If you have
questions and/or concerns about your child's success
in a particular age range, we are happy to discuss
your child's needs and to work with you to place your
child in the class best suited for him/her.
Is it okay to bring my other child
to an Infant or Toddler Class?
If a sibling over 6 months of age is in regular attendance
at a toddler class and they are mobile, they should
be registered. We want the class size to be predictable
and comfortable for all the families. Older siblings
are welcome to visit an infant or toddler class on
occasion. Please call for details and to discuss. Sibling
guidlines can be viewed below.
What if I have to miss a class?
While you will have lots of resources to enjoy music
at home with your Home Materials, if you should have
to miss a class for illness or other unforeseen circumstance,
a make-up can be arranged through your teacher.
What are some good rules of thumb for attending class?
Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early for class.
We do request that toys, juice cups, and pacifiers be kept out of sight,
and that snacks be finished prior to class.
Be sure to dress comfortably.
We love for parents to visit before and/or after class, but not during class
time, please. When you are an active, focused, enthusiastic participant in
the class activities, your child will model your actions and focus more fully
too.
